WEB SITE DEDICATION

This web site is dedicated in memory of Barbara Munso (Corona), the granddaughter of Giuseppe (Joseph) Biaggi and Margaret Ambrosetti (Biaggi), who devoted many hours to researching our immediate Biaggi/Ambrosetti family history.

Barbara Munso (Corona)

This web site is also dedicated to Flavio Biaggi, our distant relative from the district of Bellinzona, in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland, who has researched our Biaggi family tree back to the 1600's.

Flavio Biaggi

Also to Tony Quinn (his second great grandfather, Giovanni Fulgenzio Morisoli, married Carolina Biaggio in 1853) who found our web site in December of 2015 through family tree information posted on the Internet by Jeanne Forester (Smith), granddaughter of Evelyn Biaggi (Alsua).  Tony lives in Sacramento, California, and began doing serious family genealogy research in 1997.  In 2009, a member of the Biaggi family that settled in Fort Bragg contacted Tony and he did lots of research with that branch of the family.  That is how he got to know Flavio via the Internet.  They have yet to meet in person even though Tony has been to Switzerland 12 times.  But it seems Tony didn't know about how our part of the family fit in with his until he met Jeanne online quite by accident.  Flavio and Tony now work closely via the Internet to edit and complete our huge, extended Biaggi family tree.

Tony Quinn

Tony joined our family web site as a Guest Member in December of 2016 which began a flurry of email exchanges between Tony and Chantelle Biaggi.  On February 5, 2016, Tony and Chantelle met face to face at Tower Cafe to exchange family genealogy information.

Distant Cousins Chantelle Biaggi & Tony Quinn

AND, to Michele McCulloch (Duncan), granddaughter of Annie Ambrosetti, one of the sisters of Margaret Ambrosetti (Biaggi).  Michele, who lives in Gold Beach, Oregon, joined our family web site back in 2013 (when we had no information on the Ambrosetti side of the family) and has been researching her family tree since high school.  She found our web site after making contact with Tonya Biaggi (Heil) via the Internet.  In 2016, Michele, Tony Quinn, and Chantelle Biaggi joined forces and in just a few short months to identify the descendants of Antonio Ambrosetti, born in 1733, which includes 417 family members including their spouses!  On April 16, 2016, Michele met with Chantelle Biaggi at Bella Bru in El Dorado Hills, California.

Ambrosetti Second Cousins Once Removed

Soon to come...add to our Family Tree page a list of approximately 1032 descendants (including spouses) of Dominico Del Biaggio, born in the 1600s and of approximately 417 descendants (including spouses) of Antonio Ambrosetti, born 1733.

WHAT AN INTERESTING JOURNEY THIS HAS BEEN
AND
WILL CONTINUE TO BE!
